Original practice with useful explanations
PSP preparation covers the publicly demonstrated skill areas: Error Detection, Orientation, Number Fluency, Word Rules and Deductive Reasoning. The purpose of feedback is to reconstruct the work, explain the answer and identify a method you can use again.
Examples and practice items are original educational material. They are not official past questions, an endorsed assessment or a claim that every live battery has the same sections. Clearly labelled PSP practice timers and scoring remain separate from official rules.
Support beyond the online test
Use the application guides to organise route conditions, documents, dates and correspondence. Use interview material to develop genuine evidence, practise follow-up questions and understand what a clearer answer requires.
The physical preparation branch links published standards and the official suggested programme. It helps you organise the task, but does not provide personalised exercise prescription or medical clearance. Pilot applicants should note that general reasoning practice is not complete simulator or aviation assessment preparation.
Check the offer before purchasing
Use the current pricing and checkout information for price, duration, included access and account terms. Do not infer a separate Army entitlement from having a civil service account; the available plan details must state what your purchase includes.
Inventory and access can change as verified material is added. Check the live course and practice catalogue for current availability rather than relying on an unverified question count. A no-repeat claim should mean fresh canonical items are excluded after issue, with a clear message when unseen stock runs out; deliberate review is a different activity.
Begin with the free diagnostic
The diagnostic requires sign-in and lets you inspect the learning approach before deciding on more preparation. Review why each answer follows and whether the feedback addresses a real need.
PSP is independent of the Defence Forces and Mindmill. Purchasing is optional and does not submit an application, reserve a place or guarantee selection. Current General Service applicants should verify any aptitude requirement from their own invitation.

- 400 Error detection
- 128 Orientation
- 480 Number fluency
- 400 Word rules
- 87 Deductive reasoning
1,495 original practice items in total, including 15 free sample items. Availability depends on what your account has already seen. New practice excludes questions issued in any mode; deliberate review remains available.
Orientation includes cardinal-direction variations. Deductive reasoning includes additional four-, five- and six-card exercises. These PSP extensions are labelled; they do not establish the content of your actual test. Questions are generated and checked with software and independent AI review, not officially approved or psychometrically calibrated.
