I created PSP.
I previously worked as a civil servant in DSP and PublicJobs. I built PSP because I was frustrated trying to find practice tests that reflected Irish assessment formats.

Why I built it
Preparation should help you understand what to do next.
When I looked for practice tests, I found it frustrating to find material that reflected the Irish formats. That frustration was the starting point for PublicServicePathway.
The official booklet and familiarisation material are still the starting point for your competition. PSP gives you more opportunities to practise, understand a worked answer, and prepare your own examples for an application or interview.
PublicServicePathway brings those activities together. You can start with a free question, work through the explanation, and decide whether you need more practice. If you are preparing for an application or interview, you can organise the experience you already have.
I want you to be able to see what you are getting before you pay. The free taster works without an account or card, and the walkthrough shows how the preparation tools fit together. I would also love honest feedback on what is useful and what needs improving.

Something to learn from
Work through numerical, verbal and situational judgement practice with explanations. Use untimed practice to understand a method, then timed papers to practise working against the clock.
Your own experience
Application and interview preparation starts with what you have actually done. The general Application Helper can suggest editable drafts from that evidence. Check every fact and your competition's AI rules before using them.
PSP cannot guarantee a pass, an interview or a place on a panel. A practice score is not a prediction of your official result.
